Are ramen noodles "healthier" if ate as a soup?

I usually just drain the water and put like half the seasoning packet in and throw away the rest, BUT yesterday I decided to try it as soup. I kept the water in and poured the seasoning in AND added broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower to it! I do know this is filled with sodium, but I was thinking "it's almost 100 degrees outside and I need every possible way to hydrate myself." I know soup is a good hydrator, but is ramen noodle soup a good hydrator also? All we had was ramen noodles and cambell's chicken noodle souo and cream of mushroom! I hate cambell's chicken noodle soup btw!
