How did I do today, diet-wise?

Your skipping the most important meal of the day Breakfast, believe me skipping breakfast doesnt make you lose weight well you may argue your now skipping but a coffee is not good enough. Try cerea like special K or cornflakes or even better oatmeal, this will fuel you up all the way to lunch where you wont eat as much however what you are doing doe not benefit you for lunch you should be eating something maybe a sandwitch because you seem to be exploding when you get to dinner therefore its better to balance out your diet
